We provide a clean, safe environment for your child (3 yrs and under) during Sunday School and Worship Services.
OUR PART:
Our Purpose: is to provide security and comfort for your child while you share in our worship and instruction. At a suitable age, your child will also benefit from their own special learning times.
Our Commitment: We are committed to the ministry of childcare through our Infant and Toddler Nurseries, here at Northside. It is our desire to minister to your family by providing loving care and Biblical training for your child, enabling you to participate in Christian Education and Worship and to give you the opportunity to participate in the many fellowship activities through our church wide events.
Our Promise: If your child experiences difficulty in adjusting to his/her surroundings and needs reassurance from you, the parent, we will be more than happy to come for you and notify you of the need.
Discipline: We believe that the discipline of your child is your responsibility. If any nursery worker experiences difficulty with your child that would require more than minor discipline, they are requested to seek the parent for help.
Age Requirements: For safety reasons we have divided our nurseries into two departments — The Infants & Crawlers, and the Toddlers — up through age 3.
THE PARENTS PART:
Drop Off & Pick Up: We ask that you do not enter the individual nursery rooms. This helps to avoid confusion and crowding in the rooms. We ask that you as a parent drop off your child. The nursery coordinator will sign your child in at the desk in the hall. Please pick up your child as soon as it is possible, following your activity.
Sign In & Out: All children must be signed in & out at the nursery station. Please wait outside the door for the nursery attendant to bring your child to you. Please do not enter the room.
Your Child's Belongings: Please make sure to label all of your child’s belongings, both items in the diaper bag and what he/she might be carrying in with them. Please seek to have at least one diaper in your child’s bag.
Well Child Policy: Help us help you and your child by not bringing any child into the nursery area if he or she has a fever, runny nose (unless clear), or diarrhea. Note: The church is not responsible for confirming immunizations.
Snacks: We will provide your child with a snack of cheerios or Goldfish crackers. If you do not want your child to receive these, please inform the Nursery Staff.
